When something unfortunate happens to us, we are deep lost in agony and despair. But grief is a part of human life and is unavoidable just as death. It is completely fair to grieve over something but it's not wise to sink in the plethora of sorrow. We must preserve our sanity even in the time of acute distress. And work is the only thing that comes to rescue us by providing healthy consolation. Work helps us to overcome the melancholy. One thing we should never forget,
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." - George Carlin.
So we should always try to give a proper meaning to our lives rather than sinking in despair. Life becomes meaningful and interesting only when we start concentrating on us gets more attached to work which is constructive and challenging. The study of man at work is vast and fascinating theme. It is in fact inexhaustible. There is no doubt that work is the most important single aspect of human life. Well, it can be aptly described as the real philosopher's stone which transmutes all the base metal of humanity into sparkling gold. Without adequate interesting work we can't find real joy in life as well as without genuine commitment to work we can never find our inner peace.
The satisfaction that comes from constructive work is the only antidote to grief.
